Project Objective: A modest family home on the water that needed to grow with the family. But there is no reason to grow a house beyond the actual needs of the clients. Therefore we added only a partial second floor, to provide a master bedroom suite and study. Downstairs we reworked the bedroom area to better suit the way they wanted to use the space. In the main living area we renovated the kitchen and opened it to the living room beyond. In turn we opened the living room more to the views of the water, then raised the ceilings over both to give a greater sense of space.
