Project Three

Project Objective: This is a new lakeside house built largely on the foundation of a existing one that had been demolished due to its poor condition. The client wished to have a house that reminded him of something that might be seen in his native Italy. The result was the three-bedroom, 2,400-square-foot house (plus finished basement) that provides a retreat for our client, his family, and his friends, with ready access to views and experience of the outdoors. Openness and comfort were key to this design.
