COMMERCIAL PROJECTS |
In addition to houses, we have had the pleasure of working on a wide range of nonresidential projects, as well. These have included healthcare offices, stores, small conference/educational centers, daycare centers, municipal buildings, churches, firehouses, animal shelters, and even historic railway stations. We have also worked extensively with children’s camps. |
A historic train station that had fallen on hard times. It had last been used as a police station and had been unoccupied and un-maintained for many years. Most of the original trim and ornament were gone and it was in very poor structural condition. We had the original plans and were able to bring it back to its former glory. It now serves as a community gallery.

 | A small conference and residential education center at a camp for inner city children. It includes class rooms, administrative offices, sleeping rooms for 52, dining room and community spaces. The budget was tight but the client was both focused on what they needed and flexible as to how we achieved it. We are very pleased with the result.

 | A seven thousand square foot, one story commercial building, located at the busy main intersection of a small suburban community. The interior space was designed for maximum flexibility, with all spaces running through from front to back. To preserve the older town center feel, the façade was brought out to the street and a gable roof as opposed to a flat one was used.
| The parking was located in the rear in a tree shaded lot. The surrounding colonnade gives shoppers protection from the weather and gives sidewalk pedestrians a sense of separation from the crowded roadway and close association with the display windows they are passing. |
