Tom Hitchins is a licensed architect with over 22 years experience in the profession and over 30 years in the construction industry. His focus on client service and design excellence is reflected in the diversity of successful projects and his many repeat clients. Tom is personally involved in every step of the design process, from project inception and programming to design and cost estimation; through construction documents to construction phase services. Tom has a degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute. "Architecture is about the people, our clients, as much as it is about design. Ultimately our designs come from, and are about the people we design for."

David Smith has been with the firm for12 years. He is vitally involved with all phases of the work and many of the designs you see on this site are his. With an ability to "build" a structure in his head, he has a knack for solving potential construction problems with elegant solutions. He has a degree in Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has been awarded the Robert Bradford Newman Medal for architectural acoustics with merits for lighting design.

Office Manager

Donna Wilson has been with the firm for 10 years as Office Manager and Project Manager. Her expertise in working with regulatory agencies and guiding projects through code compliance issues and red tape is legendary. She makes the concerns of the clients and the contractors her concerns and works successfully to find solutions to the day-to-day problems that inevitably crop up on a project.
